Who You’ll Be Collaborating With
As a Senior Accountant at OnePlan, you’ll work closely with Finance and Operations, and at times work with other internal teams. Your day-to-day will involve managing complex financial processes, preparing key reports, and ensuring the integrity of our financial data for both local and international operations. You will be involved with various accounting functions including key account reconciliations, management reporting, audit workpaper generation and financial analysis.

What You’ll Do at OnePlan
- Month-End and Year-End Close: Assist in the preparation of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close workbooks for multinational entities.
- Income, Sales & Payroll Tax Compliance: Have a thorough understanding of US federal, state, and local tax regulations, managing the preparation and timely filing and the related coordination with third-party providers.
- General Ledger Management: Perform or review account reconciliations, accruals and prepaid journal entries.
- Order to Cash Cycle: Oversee billing, invoice delivery, and reconciliation processes.
- Accounts Payable Management: Post or review vendor bills, verification of timesheets, and billable expense recording.
- Bank Reconciliation: Prepare or review monthly bank reconciliations including credit card transactions.
- Financial Analysis: Analyze financial statements for discrepancies and provide insights to senior management.
- Audit Coordination: Prepare documentation for external auditors and assist in coordinating audits as needed.
- Project Management: Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ad-Hoc Projects: Undertake special projects and tasks as required.
Our Ideal Fit
- With at least 7 years of progressive accounting experience, including a strong focus on global accounting and international operations, you'll be ready to hit the ground running.
- You hold a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance and are a certified CPA.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP, accounting principles, practices, and standards is essential for success in this role.
- You’re proficient in Excel and have advanced skills in accounting software, with QuickBooks experience being a must.
- You know how to work with large data sets and can navigate databases with ease.
- Equipped with strong analytical skills, you're able to interpret financial data and offer actionable insights.
- You’re an excellent communicator, both in writing and speaking, and enjoy collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- A proactive attitude and a willingness to take on more responsibilities are key traits you bring to the table.
- You thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments, and can manage multiple projects at once without missing a beat.
