About the Role
This is a pivotal opportunity for a seasoned professional to join Mandiant's team in Virginia, working closely with clients and internal stakeholders to provide actionable threat intelligence. As a Senior Analyst, you will serve as a conduit to Mandiant's extensive network of cybersecurity, threat intelligence, and information operations experts. Your expertise will be crucial in analyzing complex threats, developing strategic insights, and communicating findings effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Connect threat intelligence to foster a deep understanding of adversary actions, enabling clients to anticipate and counter threats effectively.
- Conduct strategic, tactical, and operational research and analysis of adversarial cyber threats and groups, staying abreast of the latest tools, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).
- Evaluate current and emerging tools and best practices for tracking advanced threats, analyzing TTPs, and understanding attacker motivations and trends.
- Prepare and deliver high-quality briefings and reports to client executives, security teams, and individual investigators, tailoring content to the audience.
- Present strategic and tactical intelligence on threat groups, their tactics, and motivations, highlighting the significance of findings for diverse audiences.
Essential Qualifications
To excel in this role, you must possess:
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, demonstrating a solid educational foundation.
- At least 2 years of experience in a Digital Threat Intelligence role in a client-facing environment, showcasing your ability to navigate complex client needs.
- Experience with CTI techniques and applications in areas such as Identify, Protect, Respond, or Recover, highlighting your versatility in threat intelligence.
- A proven track record in partner management, leading, presenting, and reporting to various audiences, including executives, underscoring your leadership and communication skills.
- US Government Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information Clearance with polygraph, ensuring the highest level of security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
While not mandatory, the following qualifications can significantly enhance your candidacy:
- Experience in the use, processing, and analysis of tactical (technical) CTI within an operational environment, supporting monitoring, detection, and response capabilities.
- A deep understanding of CTI systems and application concepts, with the ability to advise and mentor new CTI colleagues, demonstrating your expertise and leadership potential.
- The capacity to synthesize raw intelligence from various sources into coherent reports and briefings, showcasing your analytical prowess.
