Job Summary
As a Senior Data Analyst - IT, you will be a data-driven leader with a passion for data, analytics, and program execution. You will work closely with key stakeholders across Digital Channels, Personalization, and Loyalty technology teams to drive business growth and process improvements. Your primary responsibility will be to analyze data from various sources, identify patterns and trends, and transform it into actionable insights that drive Functional Greatness (Bull). You will also collaborate with a dedicated team, communicate effectively with engineers, stage groups, business experts, and leadership, and influence change based on data-driven insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand the digital performance of applications/systems affecting business functionality
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across Digital Channels, Personalization, and Loyalty technology teams
- Create and execute data analysis work streams to drive business growth and process improvements
- Identify, plan, and execute internal process enhancements to drive performance and adaptability
- Develop and maintain data products, including dashboards and reporting tools, to support data-driven decision-making
- Collaborate with US and India Data Center teams to develop dashboards and reporting tools
- Stay up-to-date with new platform updates, application releases, and cycles to navigate system performance, errors, and response times
- Communicate and share updates with leadership, including regular presentations
Requirements and Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Data Science (Math, Statistics, or Economics), or a related quantitative field
- 5 years of experience in Data Analysis, Business Intelligence, analytics, and data engineering, with 3 years of experience in a Fortune 500 organization
- 3 years of experience in online business platform development
- Experience building presentations for stakeholders and leaders, and engaging with all levels of management
- Proven ability to create a vision, motivate the team towards that vision, and provide support to achieve it
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience with BI tools (e.g., PowerBI, Tibco Spotfire) to create meaningful, rich dashboards
- High-level SQL skills
- Strong problem-solving skills, using data to drive solutions
- Excellent written, communication, and presentation skills
- Must be legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:
- Graduate degree in Computer Science, Aviation Management, or Operations Research
- Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate, Power BI Data Analyst Associate, AWS Certified Data Analytics, or related certifications
- 4 years of experience in a lead role
- Experience with Data Dog /App D/Kibana, Big enterprise monitoring systems, Palantir Foundry, or Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio
- Past airline or travel industry experience
- Experience with AWS - Redshift, QuickSight, Athena, or BigQuery
- Continuous integration and delivery using Agile methodologies
- Regression analysis on performance forecasts, experience with various regression techniques
