Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement complex data science models and algorithms using technical expertise in machine learning, statistical modeling, probability, and decision theory.
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions and drive growth.
- Apply advanced statistical techniques, including predictive modeling, customer profiling, segmentation analysis, and data mining, to drive business outcomes.
- Utilize programming languages such as Python, PySpark, Matplotlib, TensorFlow, and PyTorch to develop and deploy models and algorithms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, research, software development, and business leaders, to define product requirements and provide analytical support.
- Communicate complex technical concepts and insights to non-technical stakeholders, including business clients and management teams.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data science and machine learning, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement.
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM field (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) and a minimum of 4 years of experience in data science, machine learning, or quantitative/computational fields.
- Advanced degree (MS or Ph.D.) in a relevant field, such as computer science, statistics, mathematics, or data science.
- At least 4 years of experience working with large-scale, complex datasets to develop and optimize machine learning models.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, PySpark, and SQL.
- Strong understanding of data analysis, feature engineering, and model development.
- Experience with supervised and unsupervised learning techniques, including regression, decision trees, clustering, and dimensionality reduction.
- Knowledge of cloud-based machine learning platforms, distributed computing, and data pipelines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ph.D. in a relevant field, such as computer science, statistics, mathematics, or data science.
- Experience working with IoT (Internet of Things) data and Edge AI.
- Knowledge of reinforcement learning techniques and applications.
- Experience in the healthcare industry, with a strong understanding of healthcare data and analytics.
