We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst who is business-minded, data-driven, and able to translate large and complex data sets into meaningful information and have the desire to influence BOLD’s decision and performance. Using your strong analytical skills, you will review data surrounding payment acceptance rates, chargebacks, and other performance metrics in order to develop strategies to drive growth within the business. You will be working closely with our development team in order to implement changes to the internal e-commerce platform to support our payment strategies. In addition, you will help design the necessary reporting and tools required to effectively review and make changes to the e-commerce operation.
About this team
As our Senior Financial Analyst, Payments, you will report to the Finance Director, Payments and will be a key member of the team supporting BOLD’s e-commerce function and relationships.
What you'll do
Identify patterns in payment processing success, chargeback, and fraud rates by analyzing large quantity of data
Monitor and forecast payment related metrics, such as acceptance rate and fraud rate, and predict customer behaviors through data analysis and modeling
Understand the key drivers of company KPIs (Key Performance Indicators such as conversion rate, life time value of a customer, chargeback rate, and fraud rate) and the relative contribution of those drivers to the business performance through financial and statistical modeling
Monitor payment acceptance rates and track performance trends to proactively recommend adjustments to our payment processor allocation strategies when shifts occur
Review transaction and chargeback data across various card brands, processors, and gateways to monitor performance trends, proactively identifying anomalies and recommending solutions to address issues.
Make recommendations to improve operations, anti-fraud processes and system enhancements
What you'll need
Finance, Economics, Statistics or related degree required
4 to 6 years of progressive experience in corporate finance, statistics, or a highly analytical finance role.
Ability to collaborate with and across teams throughout the company, including Finance, Platform, Customer Support, Product, and Marketing to drive results
Extensive experience in building complex financial models, conducting quantitative and qualitative financial analysis and scenario analysis
Strong written, verbal and presentation communication skills
Experience in presenting analysis to senior executives and working as a business partner across all departments
Thrive in a complex, fast-paced environment
Advanced Excel and Pivot Table proficiency and PowerPoint Skills
Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
What's good to have
MBA or Master’s degree in quantitative fields such as Economics, Statistics, Business Analytics
Experience with SiSense, Tableau or other data visualization tools
Previous experience in Payments is a plus

Individual pay is based on location, transferable skills, experience, and other relevant factors. This estimated range is based on the best available market data and factors, all of which are subject to change. $110,000—$130,000 USD
