About the Role
The Senior Manager, Demand Planning, will be responsible for leading the demand planning process for the Americas Business Unit (BU), covering a wide range of products, including espresso, consumables, and machines. This role will work closely with various internal and external stakeholders to drive value through improved forecasting, collaboration, and supply chain optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, review, and present approved long-term demand plans using tools like Anaplan and SAP, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business objectives.
- Manage and maintain the Anaplan statistical forecasting module and planning process, ensuring data integrity and timely updates.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Business Operations, Marketing, and Commercialization, to understand the impact of new product launches, promotions, and other business initiatives on demand.
- Provide insights and recommendations to stakeholders on demand planning, inventory management, and supply chain optimization.
- Develop and maintain expertise in demand planning best practices, tools, and technologies, including Anaplan and SAP.
- Drive process improvements and change management initiatives to enhance demand planning capabilities and achieve business objectives.
- Work closely with senior leaders to align demand planning strategies with business goals and objectives.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, or Business Administration.
- At least 5 years of experience in demand planning or a related field, preferably in the FMCG or Retail industry.
- Strong knowledge of demand planning principles, practices, and tools, including Anaplan and SAP.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and develop actionable insights.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leaders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant tools, with the ability to learn new technologies and systems.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of the consumer goods industry.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
To stand out as a candidate, you will ideally have:
- Experience working in a global or multinational organization.
- Knowledge of SCDM (Supply Chain Data Management) and other relevant supply Gaterep practices.
- Familiarity with other demand planning通 tools and technologies.
- Certifications or training in demand planning, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment.
