About the Role

We're looking for a highly skilled and experienced Product Designer to join our Ad Formats team. As a Senior Product Designer, you'll work closely with our design lead to craft innovative ad formats that meet the needs of both Advertisers and Pinners. You'll collaborate with cross-functional partners, including engineering, product management, and research, to develop user-centric and data-informed solutions that drive business results.

Key Responsibilities

• Craft intuitive and delightful experiences for Advertisers and Pinners, working closely with our design lead to develop innovative ad formats.
• Collaborate with engineering, product management, PMM, and research to develop impactful, user-centric, and data-informed solutions.
• Manage feedback from stakeholders within your pod, ensuring that design decisions are informed by user needs and business goals.
• Work alongside engineers throughout the implementation and quality assurance phases, ensuring that design solutions are implemented with fidelity.
• Uphold and inspire a high level of design execution across the team, promoting a culture of design excellence.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need to have a strong background in product design, with a proven track record of envisioning, building, and iterating on digital ad products. You'll need to have:

• A strong portfolio that showcases your design skills, product thinking, and business acumen, with experience designing for both mobile and web platforms.
• A solid understanding of layout, typography, color, and other graphic design principles, with the ability to work within and extend a design system.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate your design decisions and the problems they're solving.
• A strong ability to balance different audiences' user needs and lead multiple workstreams, prioritizing tasks and managing competing demands.
• A high level of self-awareness, with a growth mindset and a willingness to learn and adapt.

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications will make you a more competitive candidate:

• Experience working in design systems and/or product redesigns, with a deep understanding of the principles and best practices.
• A strong background in human-centered design, with a passion for creating user-centric solutions.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and research.
• A willingness to mentor and support junior designers, promoting a culture of design excellence.
