We're looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Product Manager - Sales to join our growing product team and play a key role in shaping our sales experience and driving business outcomes.
About the Role
This is a hybrid role with locations in Washington DC, Fredericksburg, VA, San Jose/San Francisco, CA, and Seattle, WA. As a Senior Product Manager - Sales, you will be responsible for driving the sales experience and working closely with cross-functional teams to build and execute best-in-class sales solutions. You will be a single-threaded owner working across stakeholders within technology, business, product management, and design to deliver business outcomes and drive customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of sales experience strategies across multiple channels and insurance product offerings
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business, product, design, and engineering, to drive results and deliver business outcomes
- Synthesize information across customer, business, market, and platform data to identify opportunities and turn insights into requirements
- Own and prioritize the long-term (6+ months) product roadmap to deliver business outcomes and drive customer satisfaction
- Develop and maintain compelling, informative artifacts to influence stakeholders, including vision, roadmaps, features/epics, and progress updates
- Evaluate trade-offs and negotiate requirements with technical experts and business stakeholders
- Coach and mentor other Product Managers to drive growth and development
- Leverage agile metrics to understand product management's contribution to agile teams and identify potential opportunities for improvement
- Oversee product rollout plans, segmentation, product adoption, and opportunities for product promotion
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 5+ years of experience in agile product management, with a proven track record of driving business outcomes and customer satisfaction
- 5+ years of experience managing all aspects of a product feature throughout its lifecycle, from concept to delivery or launch to market
- 5+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams that drive results during product discovery and product delivery
- Strong organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to conduct analysis and drive data-driven decisions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence multiple stakeholders without direct authority
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field, such as software engineering or computer science
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
- Insurance industry experience, with a deep understanding of underwriting, rating, and insurance product offerings
- Experience driving product vision, go-to-market strategy, and design discussions
- High sense of accountability and strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to deliver value in an iterative way
- Experience using quantitative and qualitative data to inform design decisions and drive change
- Knowledge of multiple functional areas, including Product Management, Engineering, UX/UI, Sales, Customer Support, Finance, and Marketing

Our compensation package is competitive, with a salary range of $143,000 - $224,000 per annum. We also offer a culture of innovation, collaboration, and mutual respect, with opportunities for career advancement and professional growth.
