This is a remote position.

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Program Manager to join our team. This is a unique chance to lead transformative projects in the telecommunications industry and drive significant digital transformation initiatives across Africa.
The candidates must be able to travel 50% of the time to countries such as Uganda, Rwanda, DRC, Angola, Zimbabwe, and Kenya. A valid passport is required for the contract.
This is an initial 6 month contract with the potential for further extension based on the project requirements.
Documentation Required for this position
• Updated CV highlighting telecom/digital transformation experience
• Professional certifications such as AWS, PMI, ITIL
• Portfolio of previous projects
• References from the telecom industry

Requirements

Key Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years in the telecommunications industry or digital transformation projects, with a proven track record of managing large-scale network initiatives.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication skills to manage teams effectively and stakeholders.
  • Certifications: PMI PMP or PgMP certification preferred, demonstrating expertise in project management methodologies.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical capabilities to identify issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with agile practices and frameworks is essential.
  • Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel 50% of the time to countries such as Uganda, Rwanda, DRC, Angola, Zimbabwe, and Kenya. A valid passport is required for the contract.
  • Language Proficiency: Must be fluent in English; proficiency in French, Swahili, or Portuguese is an advantage
