Senior Recruiter, Executive Search Location: Remote (must reside in the Dallas–Fort Worth, Austin, or Houston metro area) Travel: Quarterly travel to the DFW metro area for in-person team meetings Department: Talent Acquisition / Executive Search Reports to: Managing Director, Strategic Talent and Executive Search About the Role We are seeking a Senior Recruiter to join our Executive Search team, owning full-cycle search for the most senior and consequential roles in the organization. This is a remote position, but candidates must be based in one of our three Texas hubs — the Dallas–Fort Worth, Austin, or Houston metropolitan areas — and be able to travel to DFW once per quarter for team planning and business reviews. The ideal candidate is a seasoned search professional who is fully comfortable recruiting across the entire C-suite and for Board of Directors appointments. You will partner directly with executive leadership and hiring committees, run discreet and highly consultative searches, and represent the organization to some of the most senior talent in the market. What You'll Do • Lead full-cycle executive search for C-suite roles (CEO, CFO, COO, CTO, CHRO, CMO, and equivalent) as well as Board of Directors and advisory appointments. • Partner with executive stakeholders and hiring committees to define role scope, success profiles, and search strategy. • Build and execute proactive sourcing strategies, market maps, and competitive talent intelligence for senior and board-level searches. • Manage sensitive, confidential relationships with executive and board candidates with a high degree of discretion and professionalism. • Conduct in-depth candidate assessments, structured interviews, and reference and background checks appropriate to senior appointments. • Advise leadership on market conditions, compensation benchmarks, diversity slates, and talent trends at the executive level. • Guide candidates and stakeholders through offer negotiation, close, and onboarding transition for senior hires. • Maintain accurate search documentation, pipelines, and reporting within the applicant tracking system. • Represent the organization's employer brand and value proposition to senior external talent. What You Bring • Demonstrated success recruiting for C-suite roles; direct experience with Board of Directors searches strongly preferred. • Proven ability to run confidential, high-stakes searches and to build trust with senior executives and board members. • Strong sourcing, market-mapping, and talent-intelligence capabilities for hard-to-fill senior roles. • Excellent stakeholder management, consultative advisory, and executive communication skills. • Sound judgment, discretion, and comfort operating with ambiguity and shifting priorities. • Experience with applicant tracking systems and modern sourcing tools. • Based in the Dallas–Fort Worth, Austin, or Houston metro area, and able to travel to DFW quarterly. Preferred Qualifications • Experience within a retained executive search firm or a corporate executive search / talent function. • Track record of building diverse candidate slates at the senior and board level. • Familiarity with executive compensation structures and governance considerations for board appointments. Location & Travel This role is remote within Texas. Candidates must reside in the DFW, Austin, or Houston metro area at the time of hire. Team members travel to the DFW metro area approximately once per quarter for in-person meetings, planning sessions, and business reviews.
