Positions in this function are responsible for providing expertise and customer service support to members, customers, and / or providers. Direct phone – based customer interaction to answer and resolve a wide variety of inquiries. Employees in jobs labeled with “SCA” must support a Government Service Contract Act (SCA) Agreement.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Provide excellent customer sales experience
• Meet established productivity, schedule adherence, and quality standards
• Excellent communication skills coupled with the capability to multi-task through several different automation systems is required for the candidate to be successful in the role
• Sit at workstation for a long duration using a computer and headset to interact with customers
• Conduct research to identify solutions and answers to difficult customer inquiries
• Overcome customer objections and compete with yourself and other agents to succeed and hit goals
• Resolve customer service inquiries which could include:
• Benefit and Eligibility information
• Billing and Payment issues
• Customer material requests
• Identify customer needs and provide solutions that address such needs
• Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing & potential customers and make recommendations/present suitable products based on their needs
• Upsell products and services to customers when providing telecommunication solutions

Required Qualifications:
• High School Diploma / GED (or higher) OR 3 years of working sales experience
• Health license in your state of residence
• 1 years of sales experience analyzing and identifying customer needs
• Must have a hard-wired, high-speed internet connection
Soft Skills:
• Experience in an office setting environment using the telephone and computer as the primary instruments to perform job duties
• Ability to navigate a computer while on the phone
• Ability to remain focused and productive each day though tasks may be repetitive
• Ability to use or quickly adapt to CRM programs and other related computer programs
• Maintain a courteous and friendly disposition when interacting with customers irrespective of their temperament or mood
• Possess strong verbal communication skills including the ability to handle objections
• Build positive work relationship with customers to enhance the image and public perception of a company
• Goal-oriented with a focus on achieving sales objectives
• Competitive personality and self-motivation
