We are looking for a Solution Engineer with a strong data science / machine learning background to join our Customer Success team on the journey of onboarding our customers and helping them to get value from Taktile fast!

What you’ll do as Senior Data Science Solution Engineer
Collaborate with customer teams (including domain experts, product managers, engineers, data scientists, and data engineers) to train, test, and deploy machine learning models tailored to financial services use cases.
Lead the delivery of bespoke data science solutions, encompassing requirements gathering, data exploration, feature engineering, modeling, deployment, and handover to customer teams in both pilot projects and full implementations.
Onboard and support diverse customer teams in solving real-world problems, ensuring a seamless experience and fast time-to-value on the Taktile platform.
Work closely with the product team to develop and refine ML modules—such as off-the-shelf AML and fraud models—ensuring seamless integration and robust functionality.
Collaborate with product management to translate insights from customer interactions into actionable improvements for Taktile’s offerings.
About You
You excel at building strong relationships with stakeholders of varying seniority—both technical (e.g., Principal Engineers, Data Scientists) and business-oriented (e.g., Risk Managers, Credit Analysts). You thrive in customer-facing scenarios, proactively seeking innovative ways to engage customers and deliver exceptional value in a competitive landscape.
You have a genuine interest in understanding our customers' businesses and enjoy helping them overcome their challenges.
You’re a solution-oriented professional who can dive deep into technical discussions yet translate complex concepts for broader audiences.
You are an expert in end-to-end data science solution delivery, including requirements gathering, data exploration, modeling, and deployment.
You bring experience deploying machine learning models in production, understanding the operational demands of maintaining these systems at scale.
You possess solid knowledge of REST APIs, including design, integration, and authentication, and have experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
You embody a continuous learning mindset, staying up to date on best practices while readily adapting new skills and methodologies.
You work effectively with cross-functional teams—Sales, Solution Engineering, Product, Engineering, Customer Success—fostering a spirit of collaboration.
You have outstanding written and spoken English skills, enabling you to convey complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
You’re adept at planning and managing project scope, setting expectations and timelines to ensure efficient solution delivery.
You maintain a humble, growth-oriented attitude, always seeking feedback and integrating the latest advancements in data science and machine learning.
Ideal Qualifications (but not required)
You have 3-5 years of experience from a customer facing Data Scientist, ML Engineer position within a B2B SaaS company or as a Senior Consultant with the data science focus from a top tier consulting firm.
You’ve had exposure to the financial services industry before and you’re excited to solve some of the industry's most pressing problems with AI (fraud, money laundering, etc.)
