Sr. Global Trade Compliance Manager - United States (Remote)

This role ensures adherence to international trade regulations, develops and implements compliance strategies, and mitigates risks related to import/export activities. The position collaborates cross-functionally to ensure compliance is integrated into business operations, enabling efficient and legally compliant global trade practices. • *Key Responsibilities:** • - Develop and implement a global trade compliance strategy aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements. • Drive global standardization of V2X’s trade processes and standard operating procedures. Support the development and implementation of efficient, effective, and appropriate work procedures to maintain compliance with applicable broker, import, and export regulations, ensuring the implementation and documentation of corrective and preventative measures. • Lead all aspects of U.S. Government engagements related to compliance with U.S. and International Global Trade Controls (export and import controls, including the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), implemented by the U.S. Department of Commerce's Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) and the International Traffic In Arms Regulations (ITAR), implemented by the U.S. Department of State's Directorate of Defense Trade Controls (DDTC) and supported by the Department of Defense (DOD); economic sanctions laws and regulations implemented by the U.S. Department on the Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC); and global equivalents). • Provide solutions to complex regulatory and investigation issues related to imports, exports, and economic sanctions. Lead due diligence reviews of trade compliance matters in connection with potential product development, Country of Origin requirements, and/or new sourcing activities and initiatives. • Collaborate with supply chain, logistics, and other teams to streamline processes to increase efficiency and accuracy. • Act as primary liaison with regulatory agencies, customs brokers, and external consultants. • Act as the change agent in transforming talent, technologies and systems, policies and processes while driving operational efficiencies to ensure execution to a more compliant manner. Leverage best practices as needed. Coach, train, and mentor to develop the team. Actively map out forward-thinking career development plans addressing strategic business needs to position the trade and compliance team for success. • Drive corporate initiatives to update and automate global trade performance metrics and record-keeping systems including, among others, those utilized associated with licensing, screening, and anti-boycott reporting. Analyze, identify,y and request support for technology integration that streamlines processes and improves data accuracy. • Facilitate and navigate U.S. Government export policy decision-making to enable compliant approvals with respect to Foreign Military Sales (FMS), Direct Commercial Sales (DCS), and associated Technology Security & Foreign Disclosure (TSFD) requirements. • *Minimum Qualifications:** • - **Education:** • Bachelor's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained. • **Experience:** • Minimum of seven (7) years experience in a leadership role focused on Customs and Import/Export Trade Compliance Management. • Working knowledge navigating and implementing International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR) requirements. • Demonstrated expertise in U.S. export and import regulations and other relevant international trade laws. • Experience managing compliance programs in diverse geographical regions. • Strong knowledge of trade compliance systems and tools (e.g., SAP S4 Hana, OCR EASE). • Track record of building new ways of thinking, developing and implementing processes, process improvement, and leading change. • Broad industry connections with excellent working relationships and professional respect. • Proven success in training and developing a team of diverse individuals. • **Other Requirements:** • United States citizenship is required. • May Apply Now Apply Now
