Temporary non-benefited position working for at least 6 months as a Staffing Clerk. The Staffing Clerk will work remotely full time between 2:00 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. Monday thru Friday, with a weekend rotation every 6 weeks. The Staffing Clerk supports Trinity Health's FirstChoice nursing mobile resource pool and assigns patient care resources to patient care units throughout various campuses.
Requirements
- Two (2) or more years of staff scheduling experience
- Prefer hospital healthcare scheduling experience
- High School diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing with others internal and external to the organization
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast paced, high performing environment
- Proficient with at least one word processing package and one spreadsheet package
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Ability to exercise independent judgment to set work priorities
- Organizational skills to prioritize multiple tasks and adapt quickly to changes and interruptions
- Accuracy, attention to detail and time management skills
- Interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with a wide range of staff in order to relay and obtain information
