SQL CONTRACTOR QUALIFICATIONS
• Eight (8) or more years of experience with SQL Server T-SQL programming, including development and maintenance of stored procedures, functions, views, triggers, scheduled jobs, and database objects.
• Eight (8) or more years of experience developing, maintaining, and supporting SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) packages for enterprise ETL solutions, including data extraction, transformation, validation, and loading processes.
• Eight (8) or more years of experience developing, modifying, testing, and deploying SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) reports, dashboards, and reporting solutions.
• Five (5) or more years of experience with SQL Server relational databases, database design, performance tuning, query optimization, indexing strategies, and SQL Server Agent job scheduling.
• Three (3) or more years of experience using Git for source code management and supporting CI/CD deployment pipelines.
• Three (3) or more years of experience working in an Agile SCRUM development environment.
• Three (3) or more years of experience providing production support, troubleshooting database, ETL, and reporting issues, and supporting service incident management.
CONTRACTOR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide SQL Server T-SQL programming daily, including development and maintenance of stored procedures, functions, views, triggers, scheduled jobs, and database objects, as specified in the work tickets assigned by the Department.
• Develop, maintain, and support SSIS packages daily to perform data extraction, transformation, validation, and loading (ETL) processes, as specified in the work tickets assigned by the Department.
• Develop, modify, test, and deploy SSRS reports daily to support operational reporting, analytics, and business requirements, as specified in the work tickets assigned by the Department.
• Create, test, and maintain database code daily to perform system functions and implement system enhancements, as specified in the work tickets assigned by the Department.
• Troubleshoot, analyze, and document resolutions to database, ETL, and reporting issues daily, as specified in the work tickets assigned by the Department.
• Perform database performance tuning and query optimization daily to improve system performance, reliability, and scalability, as specified in the work tickets assigned by the Department.
• Develop and maintain SQL Server Agent jobs, data integration processes, and automation scripts daily to support scheduled processing and operational activities, as specified in the work tickets assigned by the Department.
• Maintain source code and deployment artifacts using Git and CI/CD pipelines, ensuring adherence to established development, testing, and release management processes.
• Provide reports, analytical research, technical documentation, and communications to management daily, as specified in the work tickets assigned by the Department.
• Participate in production support, service incident resolution, and Agile Scrum activities daily, including analysis, testing, deployment support, and coordination with project teams, as specified in the work tickets assigned by the Department.
