Responsibilities:

What You’ll Do
• Conducts a variety of tasks associated with the recruitment, screening and selection of new employees. Reviews recruitment requirements with management to determine applicant requirements. Formulates plans to meet manpower needs. Reviews resumes, advertising responses and employment applications, interviews, and screens applicants for technical competence, applicable background and skills, individual goals and ability to fit in the organization and function… effectively. Coordinates the conduct of reference checks and evaluates reference data concerning previous employment record. Makes employment recommendations based on information developed through interviews, reference checks, applications and resumes. Coordinates arrangements for pre-employment medical examinations, travel, reporting dates, security clearances and employment processing. Provides applicants with pre-employment information regarding job requirements, location, compensation, benefits, allowances and employment policies. Participates in gathering, preparing, and analyzing a variety of employment data relating to advertising effectiveness, turnover, minority employment, recruiting campaigns and related items as required. Employment assignments are normally involved with the hire of exempt and/or supervisory level candidates.

Key Responsibilities
• Leads full life-cycle recruiting efforts for positions within assigned business unit or corporate business advisory area.
• Using iCIMS, advertises vacancies, and identifies potential qualified job candidates for a wide variety of jobs at V2X.
• Searches for job candidates using iCIMS and additional recruiting sources such as job boards and databases, internet recruiting resources, networking, job fairs, social media advertisements, or employee referrals.
• Screens, interviews, and assesses qualified applicants and refers them to hiring managers. Provides initial screening to assess applicant’s relevant knowledge, job skills, education, experience, and aptitudes, and informs them of the positionÂ’s duties and responsibilities, compensation, benefits, and working conditions.
• Reviews job descriptions to ensure appropriate information is included for advertisement, internet postings, and targeted job boards.
• Manages all information in the Applicant Tracking software – iCIMS.
• Develop new and unique recruiting methods through diversity recruiting, cold calling, networking and other recruiting tools.
• Pro-actively sources and builds talent pipeline for hard to fill or unusual positions, while following hiring processes.
• Adheres to aggressive recruiting pace designed to shorten days to fill the requisition.
• Communicates regularly with hiring managers to establish rapport, gauge morale, and source new candidate leads. Maintains a strong customer service rating with internal customers to include conducting hiring strategies on all newly posted positions.
• Maintains a strong relationship with candidates to include reviewing all internal applications within a minimum of three business days.
• Coordinates activities involved in external and internal selection. This includes pre-screening applicants, setting up of interviews, compiling interview results, and the notification to applicants concerning their select/not-select status. Sends out offer letters and coordinates offer negotiations between candidate and hiring managers.
• Walks candidates through the full life-cycle recruitment process, including on-boarding, to ensure quick and effective hiring.
• Coordinates background checks, employment verification, Visa process, and reference checks, clearance status of potential candidates.
• Coordinates and schedules pre-employment physical exams/mental health exams/drug screens as may be required.
• Coordinates and participates in Job Fairs, Transition Seminars, and other recruiting activities throughout the U.S. and, occasionally in overseas locations.
• Leads or participates in process improvement efforts in order to streamline or improve HR Employment Services processes.
• May be asked to complete additional HR duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:
• Education:
• High School diploma or GED.
• Experience:
• Minimum of two (2) years’ related experience in end-to-end high volume lifecycle recruiting.
• Experience with active sourcing strategies on LinkedIn, Indeed, and other platforms.
• Other Requirements:
• May travel up to 20% for extended periods of time to support far-reaching domestic and international recruiting activities.

Desired Qualifications:
• Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
• Experience:
• Minimum of four (4) years’ experience in high volume recruiting to include proactive approaches in diversity recruiting, cold calling and networking.
• Prefer overseas recruiting experience.
• Prefer government contracting recruiting experience.

Skills and Technology Used:
• Business/Human Resources Acumen:
• Experienced in using on-line applicant tracking recruitment tools.
• Demonstrate the highest degree of safeguarding confidential, business, and employee data.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 applications, Teams, and Adobe technology; able to successfully operate laptop and standard office equipment. Must possess technical skills in Word and Excel.

• Excellent communicator, both orally and in writing.
• Energetic, enthusiastic, comfortable speaking with people and have a strong telephone presence.

• The successful candidate’s starting pay will be based on, but not limited to, their job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.
• The following salary range is intended to display the value of the company’s base pay compensation and may be modified at the discretion of the company.
• USD $ 55,000 – 95,000
• Provided salary range minimum and maximum values correspond to variances between regional/geographic locations across the United States.
