This is a remote position. Overview : ​ We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Architect to define, design, and govern scalable, secure, and high-performing Salesforce solutions. The Salesforce Architect will play a critical role in shaping platform strategy, translating complex business requirements into robust technical architectures, and ensuring alignment with Salesforce best practices and enterprise standards across implementations. Key Responsibilities Architecture & Solution Design • Own end-to-end Salesforce solution architecture across clouds (Sales, Service, Experience, CPQ, etc.). • Design scalable data models, integration architectures, and security frameworks. • Define system boundaries, integration patterns, and deployment strategies. • Ensure solutions align with Salesforce platform capabilities and long-term roadmap. Salesforce Platform Governance • Establish and enforce architecture standards, best practices, and design principles. • Govern customization vs configuration decisions. • Review technical designs, code, and integrations to ensure quality and scalability. • Manage technical debt and guide platform modernization initiatives. Integration & Data Architecture • Design and oversee integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and event-driven patterns. • Define data synchronization, master data, and data quality strategies. • Ensure reliable, secure, and performant data flows across systems. Security & Compliance • Architect robust security and access models (profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, FLS). • Ensure compliance with organizational, regulatory, and industry standards. • Design audit, logging, and monitoring strategies. Delivery & Leadership • Partner with business stakeholders, product owners, and delivery teams to translate requirements into technical solutions. • Provide technical leadership to developers, admins, and analysts. • Support Agile delivery through design reviews, sprint planning, and release readiness. • Assist with estimation, risk identification, and dependency management. DevOps & Release Strategy • Define environment strategy and CI/CD pipelines using SFDX and DevOps tools. • Ensure smooth deployments across environments with minimal risk. • Guide release governance and rollback strategies. Required Skills & Qualifications Technical Skills • 10+ years of Salesforce experience with deep hands-on architecture expertise • Strong knowledge of Salesforce data model, security model, and governor limits • Experience across multiple Salesforce clouds (Sales, Service, Experience, CPQ preferred) • Strong understanding of Apex, LWC, Flows, and declarative capabilities • Proven experience designing enterprise integrations and data architectures Architecture & Design • Experience defining scalable, high-availability, and secure Salesforce architectures • Ability to evaluate trade-offs and make design decisions aligned with business goals • Strong documentation skills for architecture diagrams and solution designs Soft Skills • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills • Ability to influence technical and non-technical audiences • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities Preferred Qualifications • Salesforce certifications such as System Architect, Application Architect • Experience with DevOps tools (Copado, Gearset, GitHub Actions) • Background in enterprise CRM, digital transformation, or cloud architecture • Experience in regulated industries (BFS, Insurance, Healthcare)   Benefits Diversity Inclusion: At Exavalu, we are committed to building a diverse and inclusive workforce.
