Responsibilities of a Remote Call Center Representative
As a Remote Call Center Representative, you will be responsible for:
- Communicating with donors and prospective donors in a positive, engaging, and enthusiastic manner that strengthens the connection between non-profit and donor
- Securing financial gifts from donors and prospective donors on behalf of our clients
- Managing and maintaining accurate records of donor interactions and transactions
- Meeting or exceeding minimum fundraising and productivity metrics
- Participating in ongoing training and coaching to improve performance and stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices
Requirements of the Fundraising Agent
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 1 year or more of successful outbound telemarketing experience, with a preference given to telephone fundraising experience
- A dedicated wired internet connection and a quiet place to work at home free from normal household interruptions
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with software applications
- A commitment and enthusiasm to the charitable and non-profit causes we represent, which is a huge advantage
- Availability for full-time positions only (40 hours per week)
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:
- Previous experience in customer service or sales
- Familiarity with fundraising software and technology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity metrics
