This role requires a skilled Special Education Teacher with expertise in telehealth to support K-12 students. The position focuses on delivering specialized instruction to students with mild/moderate or moderate/severe disabilities through virtual platforms. The contract is on a full-time basis during the Extended School Year (ESY), with the possibility of continuing through May 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide specialized instruction and support to students with disabilities in grades K-12.
• Utilize telehealth modalities to deliver individualized education programs (IEPs) effectively.
• Collaborate with educational teams to monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation within the Special Education Information System (SEIS).
• Ensure compliance with state and federal special education regulations.
Qualifications:
• Valid California Teaching Credential in Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Severe Special Education.
• Proven experience working with SEIS for student data management and reporting.
• Ability to manage a full-time workload of 37.5 hours per week across five days.
• Strong communication skills to engage with students, families, and educational teams remotely.
