The Deskside Support Analyst II is responsible for the configuration, maintenance, upgrading, and deployment of Clecos enterprise computing devices and end user software. This will include the day to day maintenance required as well as responsibility for troubleshooting issues related to Clecos computing resources. Collaborate with all Business Units within Cleco to fulfill business computing requirements as well as maintain our networks Integrity and Security. Monitor and Research Clecos environment for possible performance improvements and areas of concern and collaborate with the team to have these issues addressed. Key Responsibilities Champions a corporate culture that emphasizes transparency, integrity, safety, environmental responsibility, employee development, diversity and inclusion, customer service, and operational excellence. Assists with ensuring current systems never reach obsolescence through continuous review, planning, and budgeting. Supports agile projects through application of defined approaches. Utilizes standards, procedures, and processes, providing recommendations for process improvements, as necessary. Maintain current computing device configurations and plan upgrades for these devices. Using computing management platforms analyze possible issues and configuration recommendations based on industry standards and best practices. Responsible for deployment of new infrastructure, computing devices, and client software under normal maintenance and refresh operations as well as large scale projects. This to include possible onsite troubleshooting with colleagues and other 3rd party specialists to deploy and maintain computing devices. Provide and analyze reports related to the compliance and standardization of computing deployments and equipment. These should include OS and software updates and system compliance on secure connections and access port security. Troubleshooting computing and software issues related to end users including, but not limited to OS, application, and hardware issues. Submit change requests and documentation for pre and post configuration changes. This is to include collaborating with appropriate teams and notifications sent to all affected parties prior to work. Provides and assists other team members with operations, support and troubleshooting of Enterprise computer systems, directory services, and virtual environments. Provide communication to their manager to provide status updates on project activities and identify risks in delivery or resourcing needs. Support senior project staff to provide their manager with technical project updates to Director level management on a regular basis to proactively support business objectives. Work on Cleco projects and initiatives with little oversight, including acting as the technical resource for the defined computing needs. Maintain communication an update status of work to supervisors and managers as well as the stakeholder.
