Workwarp is seeking a highly motivated and creative Development Officer to join our team in a part-time fundraising role. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement fundraising strategies to support Clinic services, including grant writing, donor development, and event planning.
- Partner with the team to identify and pursue new fundraising opportunities, leveraging your creativity and innovative thinking.
- Build and maintain relationships with donors, stakeholders, and community partners to secure financial support for our healthcare services.
- Manage and report on fundraising campaigns, events, and grants, ensuring timely and accurate communication with stakeholders.
- Utilize social media and electronic applications to promote fundraising efforts and support organizational development.
- Collaborate with the team to develop marketing materials and public relations strategies that support our mission and fundraising goals.
- Ensure compliance with privacy laws related to HIPAA and the healthcare environment.
- Prioritize and manage multiple tasks, working effectively as a team member and independently.
Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A Bachelor's Degree and at least five years of experience in fundraising and donor development.
- Proven grant writing, reporting, and management skills.
- Event planning experience, with a track record of successful events.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
- Proficiency with social media and electronic applications relevant to fundraising.
- Knowledge of public relations and marketing principles to support organizational development.
- A solid understanding of privacy laws related to HIPAA and the healthcare environment.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
While not essential, the following qualifications and skills are highly desirable:
- Project management experience, with a proven ability to manage projects from conception to completion.
- A track record of innovative thinking and creative problem-solving in fundraising and donor development.
