We are seeking an experienced and skilled Scientist to support the National Institutes of Health's National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) in Bethesda, MD. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on groundbreaking research projects, collaborate with esteemed professionals, and contribute to the development of life-changing vaccines and treatments.
In this critical role, you will provide centralized support and service for all in vivo research, conduct collaborative research and animal model development, and operate a fully accredited laboratory animal facility. Your expertise will be essential in developing assays to support development and/or QC testing, performing complex procedures and techniques, and drafting standard operating procedures. You will also have the opportunity to plan and analyze data from animal and clinical studies, provide guidance to the flow cytometry manager, and review policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines to ensure dissemination to laboratory staff.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a strong educational foundation in immunology or a closely related field, with a minimum of a B.S. or M.S. degree. Additionally, you will need to have a minimum of two years of specialized experience in a relevant field, with experience in flow cytometry technology and data analysis being essential.
