Key Responsibilities

• Process new orders promptly and accurately, reviewing patient profiles and updating records using multiple software programs with strong attention to detail.
• Verify patient and prescription information for accuracy and transfer clarifications to the appropriate team as needed.
• Maintain compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act guidelines to protect patient information and ensure confidentiality.
• Exceed production standards and Key Performance Indicators for data entry processing while demonstrating reliability through excellent attendance and punctuality.

Essential Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Pharmacy Tech Data Entry role or equivalent.
• High school diploma or GED required; college education preferred.
• Texas Board of Pharmacy- Pharmacy Technician license (must be an active license and not on probation).
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and a thorough understanding of compounded medication orders.
• Ability to perform complex mathematical calculations, including rates, ratios, and percentages.
