The Opportunity
As a QVC Customer Service Specialist, you'll be the face of our brand, interacting with customers, resolving their queries, and providing personalized support in a fast-paced, virtual environment. Working from the comfort of your own home, you'll be an integral part of our team, handling a high volume of customer inquiries, and making a meaningful impact on their shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, providing timely and effective solutions to their concerns.
- Process customer requests, including confirming refunds, taking payments, and placing orders.
- Analyze customer account data to resolve issues and improve their overall experience.
- Communicate effectively with customers, peers, and leaders, adapting to diverse communication styles.
- Navigate multiple systems and screens to access customer information and resolve issues.
- Troubleshoot technical problems, collaborating with IT when necessary.
- Maintain a high level of productivity and meet performance expectations.
- Work a set schedule, including weekends, holidays, and additional hours as required.
The Right Candidate
To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a virtual environment and manage multiple priorities. We're looking for individuals who are:
Essential Qualifications:
- Able to problem-solve and de-escalate unique customer situations while maintaining a high-paced call volume.
- Comfortable working in a virtual environment with a set schedule and structured day.
- Effective communicators, able to adapt to diverse customer styles, peers, and leaders.
- Proficient in navigating multiple systems and screens while assisting customers.
- Able to follow QVC computer system requirements and troubleshoot technical problems.
- Available to work weekends, holidays, and additional hours as required.
- Residents of Texas (or other approved locations).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous customer service experience, particularly in a call center or virtual environment.
- Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software and other relevant systems.
- Strong technical skills, including the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.

- A competitive starting rate of $15.00/hour, with automatic pay increases every 6 months for 2 years, resulting in $17.00/hour after 24 months.

System Requirements
To work effectively in our virtual environment, you'll need to meet the following system requirements:
- A self-provided computer or laptop, running a Microsoft Operating System, operating on Windows 10, and not older than 3 years.
- A headset compatible with QVC specifications (QVC reimburses $75 for headset).
- A high-speed internet connection (satellite, broadband, wireless, or dial-up services are not supported).
- Note that Mac/Apple products, Chromebooks, Surfaces, and notebooks are not supported.
Training and Onboarding
Your QVC career begins with a paid 6-week training period, where you'll receive comprehensive instruction and support to prepare you for success in your role. The training schedule is as follows:
- Technical setup on Thursday.
- Orientation and training begin the following Monday.
- Monday - Friday for six weeks, 9:00 am - 5:30 pm ET.
