Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Remote Bookkeeper to provide expert accounting services to our clients. As a Remote Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for managing client financial data, preparing financial statements, and delivering exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert bookkeeping services to clients, including financial data management, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
- Utilize QuickBooks Online to manage client financial data, generate reports, and perform account reconciliations
- Deliver exceptional customer service, responding to client inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
- Work in a fast-paced virtual environment with minimal supervision, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines
- Collaborate with colleagues to share knowledge, best practices, and provide support
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments, regulatory changes, and new technologies
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
Essential Qualifications:
- 3+ years of bookkeeping and/or accounting experience
- Minimum 2 years of QuickBooks Online experience
- QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor Certification required
- CPB (Certified Professional Bookkeeper) certification preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient with technology, including computer software and ability to learn new technologies quickly
- Ability to work in a fast-paced virtual environment with minimal supervision
Preferred Qualifications:
- 7+ years of bookkeeping experience
- Experience supporting Payroll, Sales Tax, or Tax Preparation
- Strong customer service skills, with experience interacting with customers through video and audio tools
