Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Insert customer and account data by inputting text-based and numerical information from source documents within time limits.
- Compile, verify the accuracy, and sort information according to priorities to prepare source data for computer entry.
- Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct any incompatibilities if possible, and check output.
- Research and obtain further information for incomplete documents.
- Apply data program techniques and procedures.
- Generate reports, store completed work in designated locations, and perform backup operations.
- Scan documents and print files, when needed.
- Keep information confidential.
- Respond to queries for information and access relevant files.
- Comply with data integrity and security policies.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Additional computer-related education is a plus.
- Proven Data Entry Experience: Proven data entry work experience, as a Data Entry Clerk or similar position, is essential.
- Technical Skills: Experience with MS Office and data programs is required. Familiarity with administrative duties is also necessary.
- Communication and Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent knowledge of correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation is required. Attention to detail and problem-solving skills are also essential.
- Organizational and Time Management Skills: Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, are necessary.
- Independence and Self-Motivation: Good communication skills, both written and verbal, are required. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision is also necessary.
