Position Overview The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) is responsible for supporting the day-to-day execution of HR services and processes across the organization. Reporting to the Director of People & Culture, this role ensures that HR policies, systems, and practices are applied consistently, efficiently, and in alignment with organizational standards. This is a hands-on, operational role with a strong emphasis on HRIS optimization, process development, and documentation. The HRBP plays a critical role in strengthening HR infrastructure, improving workflows, and ensuring consistent and reliable employee experience across the organization. Key Responsibilities HRIS Optimization & Process Development • Lead ongoing optimization of the HRIS, including data integrity, workflows, and system functionality within ADP Workforce Now • Identify gaps in current processes and design, document, and implement standardized HR workflows and procedures • Develop and maintain clear, accessible process documentation (SOPs, guides, and templates) across all HR functions • Partner with external vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve system issues and improve functionality • Support system enhancements related to onboarding, performance management, reporting, and employee lifecycle events Employee Relations & Issue Resolution • Serve as a primary point of contact for employee relations matters across the organization • Manage routine employee relations issues, including performance concerns, workplace conflicts, and policy questions • Escalate complex or high-risk matters to the Director of People & Culture as appropriate • Ensure consistent documentation and adherence to established processes Performance Management Support • Support administration of performance management processes, including goal setting, review cycles, and performance improvement plans (PIPs) • Provide guidance to managers on applying performance processes consistently • Track and follow up on performance-related actions to ensure completion HR Operations & Process Execution • Execute core HR processes across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, job changes, and offboarding • Partner with Talent Acquisition and HR Operations to ensure smooth coordination of HR activities • Maintain accuracy of employee records and ensure alignment between systems and documentation • Support audits and ensure compliance with internal policies and external requirements Policy Application & Compliance • Provide guidance to managers and employees on HR policies and procedures • Ensure policies are applied consistently and fairly across the organization • Support compliance with employment laws and organizational standards Data Tracking & Reporting Suppo rt • Maintain accurate tracking of HR activities, including employee relations cases and performance actions • Support preparation of routine HR reports and data requests • Ensure data integrity across HR systems and reporting outputs Employee Experience & Support • Respond to employee inquiries in a timely, professional, and solutions-oriented manner • Support a consistent and respectful workplace environment • Reinforce organizational expectations related to conduct, accountability, and professionalism Other Duties as Assigned Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field • 5 –7+ years of HR experience, with strong generalist or operational HR experience • Demonstrated experience with HRIS management, process improvement, and documentation • Experience supporting employees in a remote environment • Strong employee relations experience • Working knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance • Experience with ADP Workforce Now or similar HRIS platforms Key Competencies • Systems & Process Orientation – Ability to build, improve, and sustain efficient HR systems and workflows • Execution & Follow-Through – Delivers timely, accurate, and consistent results • Judgment & Escalation Awareness – Understands when to escalate vs. resolve independently • Consistency & Fairness – Applies policies and processes uniformly • Attention to Detail – Ensures accuracy in data, documentation, and execution • Communication – Clear, professional, and direct
