We're seeking a talented Junior/Mid-Level Software Engineer to help us with application support for a scheduling product line that will positively impact the lives of millions of Americans. Our team needs a creative engineer with experience supporting and troubleshooting applications, strong communication and collaboration skills, and a passion for innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitoring for tickets and application performance
- Triaging/responding to issues
- Revising, updating, refactoring, and debugging code
- Improving existing software
- Developing documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC)
- Serving as an expert on applications and providing technical support
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or higher (4 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education)
- 2+ years' experience with the Software Development Lifecycle
- Experience with REACT, Typescript, and Java Web Services
- Excellent knowledge of software development and user interface web application
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus
- An ability to understand front-end users' requirements and a problem-solving attitude
Preferred Qualifications
- Jira, GitHub, Bitbucket, Kubernetes, AWS Cloud Environments
- VA or other Federal Government experience
- Excellent analytical and organization skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and excellent team skills
