They are seeking a Commercial Finance Lead to partner closely with the revenue organization, providing financial insights and recommendations to drive profitable growth and support strategic business cases.
Responsibilities
- Support the revenue team with commercial negotiations through the review and approval of deals and initiatives
- You will create financial models to assess proposals and pricing options, and collaborate x-functionally to ensure alignment across the business
- Finance support to the divisional and regional revenue leaders, providing detailed financial analysis and insights into performance, profitability, planning and strategic decision-making
- Collaborate across the Finance (Accounting, FP&A, Credit/AR), Revenue Operations and Legal teams to ensure end-to-end alignment on commercial activity, financial results and forecasting
- Develop and maintain tools to track revenue and profitability performance against expectations, identifying opportunities and providing actionable insights
- From time to time, conduct in-depth analysis, proactively identifying key trends, risks, and growth opportunities to guide leadership
Skills
- 5–6 years post-professional qualification (CPA or equivalent) experience in Commercial Finance, FP&A, or Business Analytics, ideally within a high-growth or global technology environment
- Proven ability to build complex financial models (e.g. pricing simulations, investment proposals, business cases) and extract actionable insights from large datasets
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and partner effectively with Sales leaders and cross-functional teams
- Advanced Excel skills are required
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deliverables in a fast-paced, global environment
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field
- Google Sheets know-how is plus
- AI skills and experience of utilising LLMs at work is a significant plus
- Experience with data tools like Snowflake, Tableau, or Power BI
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g. NetSuite) and commercial tools is an asset
