They are seeking a Machinery Breakdown Risk Engineer responsible for conducting jurisdictional inspections and risk assessments, providing consultative services, and training for customers.
Responsibilities
- Providing jurisdictional inspections and machinery breakdown risk assessment services for customers and business partners
- Provides intermediate machinery breakdown consultative services to customers, including identifying exposures with significant loss potential, investigation of cause/effect of major losses and hazard/machinery breakdown management programs
- Provides basic level training for customers, service design and coordination, marketing, and loss investigations
Skills
- Bachelors Degree and 2 or more years of experience within Boiler and Machinery in the Risk Engineering and Safety area OR High School Diploma or Equivalent and 4 or more years of experience within Boiler and Machinery in the Risk Engineering and Safety area
- Bachelors Degree and 3 or more years of experience within Boiler and Machinery in the Risk Engineering area OR High School Diploma or Equivalent and 5 or more years of experience within Boiler and Machinery in the Risk Engineering area
- Knowledge within the boiler and machinery industry segment
- Relevant experience in the assessment of risk, based on what is required by Machinery Breakdown specific competency standards
- National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors Commission Card
- Navy Nuclear School
- Insurance industry experience
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Teams, and Word)
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Experience working in a team environment
