Position Overview
As a SAP Security Consultant with CapB InfoteK LLC, you will be responsible for providing SAP security consulting services for maintenance support, project research, development, enhancement, configuration, design, build, testing, and deployment within the HCM, Financials/Logistics, and Solution Manager modules. Your expertise will help ensure the security and integrity of SAP systems, and your collaboration with cross-functional teams will drive project success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement custom SAP security roles for on-prem ECC (non-S/4) environments
- Troubleshoot and research SAP security solutions for new developments and reported issues in on-prem (non-S/4) environments
- Collaborate with BASIS and ABAP developers regarding security components and ABAP custom programming for security processes
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation (work instructions, project documentation, specifications, etc.) for future reference and maintainability
- Provide knowledge transfer through mentoring and training members of various teams throughout the SOW engagement
- Implement and support new SAP security requirements and development
- Participate in defining problems and/or developing solutions
- Perform required testing of HCM, Financials/Logistics, BW, and Solution Manager system changes or new security development prior to transport into quality assurance environment
- Update appropriate system and user documentation
- Support support pack implementations and upgrades
- Assist staff in support and troubleshooting of security due to support pack upgrades and the application of SAP required notes
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Minimum of five (5) years of relevant work experience in SAP security, with a focus on HCM, Financials/Logistics, BW, and Solution Manager
- Strong background in SAP security, including hands-on experience with SAP Security and Authorization concepts
- Proven experience in designing, developing, and implementing custom SAP security roles for on-prem ECC (non-S/4) environments
- Experience in troubleshooting and researching SAP security solutions for new developments and reported issues in on-prem (non-S/4) environments
- Familiarity with testing strategies, technical monitoring, and incident management
- Experience in SAP project management, adhering to SAP Best Practices
- Practical experience in role building for HCM, Financials/Logistics, Business Warehouse, Solution Manager, and SAP Analytics Cloud
- Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving security issues related to HCM, Financials/Logistics, Business Warehouse, Solution Manager, and SAP Analytics Cloud
- Experience in implementing and testing necessary security notes
- Deep understanding of Segregation of Duties (SoD) as it pertains to business/financial processes and security access
Preferred Qualifications:
The following qualifications are preferred:
- Experience with BW4 HANA security conversion (from on-prem) in one or more conversion projects
- Familiarity with SAP Analytics Cloud
- Experience in implementing and supporting SAP security requirements for multiple modules
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
