Job Overview
We're looking for a talented Senior Data Engineer to join our Income and Planning Innovation team. In this role, you will:
- Design, implement, and support data engineering solutions that enable data-driven decision-making
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy data pipelines, architectures, and tools
- Work with large datasets to develop and implement data models, data warehouses, and business intelligence solutions
- Provide technical leadership and expertise in data engineering, architecture, and emerging technologies
- Develop and maintain scalable, efficient, and reliable data systems that meet business requirements
Responsibilities
As a Senior Data Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
- Designing, developing, and deploying data engineering solutions using Azure products and services (e.g., Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks)
- Collaborating with source data application teams and product owners to design, implement, and support analytics solutions
- Performing data migration and data engineering tasks using various tools and technologies
- Providing technical leadership and expertise in data engineering, architecture, and emerging technologies
- Developing and maintaining scalable, efficient, and reliable data systems that meet business requirements
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in software development, data engineering, or a related field
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or C++
- Experience with data engineering tools and technologies, including Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:
- Experience with Azure technologies, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure Data Lake Storage
- Knowledge of data warehousing, business intelligence, and data visualization tools and technologies
