About the Role: Technical Program Manager II, Software Development
We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Program Manager II to join our Cloud Networking team. As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you'll have the opportunity to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish, working closely with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Key Responsibilities

- Identify and assess Continuous Improvement opportunities through qualitative feedback from subject matter experts (SMEs) and process data, driving informed decision-making and process enhancements.
- Conduct technical process definition and analysis sessions with business SMEs to ensure that our software development processes are aligned with business objectives.
- Determine how and where new tooling should be applied in existing workflows, working through the business logic (inputs/outputs) to ensure seamless integration.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional partners, including engineering, product, and operations teams, to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience in program management, with a focus on software development and delivery.
- Experience with databases, programming/scripting, and SQL, with the ability to apply technical expertise to drive project success.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects, with a focus on software development and delivery.
- Experience in vendor management in the telecommunications/network industry, with a strong understanding of network planning and engineering principles.
- Ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders across different functions and geographies, managing change and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong technical expertise, with experience in software development, databases, and programming/scripting.
