Job Summary
We're seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician with excellent customer service skills to work in a remote setting. As a Pharmacy Technician-Customer Service representative, you'll play a critical role in ensuring that our patients receive the best possible care. You'll work closely with our team to process orders, respond to customer inquiries, and resolve any issues that may arise. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform duties assigned by the Data Entry Manager, ensuring seamless workflow and efficient order processing.
- Answer phones and respond to orders, re-orders, and general customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Handle and resolve client complaints and inquiries, providing solutions and escalating issues as needed.
- Triage incoming faxes by facility/department and in accordance with cutoff times, ensuring accurate and efficient processing.
- Clarify orders as needed, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with the team to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and company policies.
Requirements:
Essential Qualifications:
- Active NJ Board of Pharmacy, Pharmacy Technician License.
- Previous experience in pharmacy, with a strong understanding of pharmacy operations.
- Knowledge of brand name and generic medications, including their uses and potential interactions.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
- Moderate to advanced computer skills, with proficiency in software applications such as Microsoft Office.
- Great telephone etiquette, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- LTC pharmacy experience, with a strong understanding of long-term care pharmacy operations.
- Frameworks / ECM knowledge, with experience in electronic medical records and document management.
